Rhys: I think i did better on the second pitch because I was a lot more confident as I had already pitched before

Jack: I think I did better on the second one because I was with someone this time and I did not have to say everything by my self.
This is part of our pitch.

The decoration is amazing. Its colours and traditional design are appropriate to the year 2012 with the yellow numbers in the middle of the product. This product is great for people who are patriotic and who want a modern twist.

William and Kian

Kian :
I think the first pitch went better because in the 2nd it took a while to find the Garageband and the Kar2ouche. Jim started laughing when the music started when we were walking out of Mr . Wilson's office. In the first pitch we just talked to Liz as soon as we walked into the room.
William :
I think 1st pitch was better because I was on my own and had more confidence on my own. Also it was my own creation so I had more to say about it. In the 2nd pitch there was more computers involved.

George & Mason Pitch Progress

George & Mason Pitch Progress:

George: I was better pitching the 2nd time than the 1st time. I was quite nervous the 1st time because I didn't have any experience with pitching, but on the second time I knew what I was doing because I had more experience.I really liked making the music for the advert with Mason. It sounded great!

Mason: I wasn't pitching the first time because I was ill , however, I think when I did pitch it went really well because my partner and I spoke clearly. I enjoyed making the TV advert because I helped George with Garageband and the animation.

Josh and Ellis pitch progress

Ellis: When I first pitched I was nervous and less confident than I am now .However this time I was re-assured because if I stumble my partner will cover me with  and I would be more confident.

Josh: When I did my first ever pitch I was very afraid at getting my script wrong and talking to a person I hardly knew. However my partner in the second pitch would have backed me up if I got my line wrong or if I couldn't say my word right.

Faith and Stacey's pitch review

Faith - In my first pitch I didn't really say anything and when I did I  made it up of the top of my head. But, in my second pitch I read out loud. I did my best and  I got really  good feed back

Stacey - In my first pitch I didn't say anything, But in my second I read my script out loud and with confidence.

Jake and Daniel pitch progress

Jake and Daniel pitch progress
Jake: I was better in the 2nd because in the 1st it was my first time so I was a little nervous but I was better in the 2nd because I was more experienced than the last time.

Daniel: I thought that the first one was nerve racking because I was pitching to someone from the Leeds Discovery Centre. But at the second pitch, it was less nerve racking because I knew that it would be Mrs Dale. But luckily, I didn't hesitate or go eerrrrmm.

Bethany and Lilly

Bethany: I liked pitching to Liz but I felt more secure when I was pitching to Jim because I had no experience the first time. The second time I had a more sensible partner and we had a prepared pitch and a TV advert. We also had prepared to tackle any questions that Jim threw at us. I thought the the 2nd pitch went a lot better because I wasn't moving around and biting my nails as I was more confident .

Lilly: When I pitched to Liz I liked it but I liked pitching to Jim more because I had a smaller group. Last time I had three pupils in my group.

Shannon & Jessica pitches

Hello! Our names are Shannon and Jessica. We presented a pitch together yesterday to Liz and Jim. The first time we pitched we had to get a design in the museum. We must admit it was scary. All classes had a certain person to pitch to and our class had Liz. Me and Jessica practiced a lot and when the time came we we not scared at all here is a snippit of the pitch:

Hello! We are Jessica and Shannon. Before we start we would just like to thank you for sparing a few minutes to listen to us.

Jade and Jack

The first time I did my pitch in front of Liz, I felt very shy and nervous because this was something I
had never done before. I felt that the second time went better because I knew what was going to happen and I knew what I was going to do.
Jade

When I entered the room I felt scared because I had never pitched my idea before to someone, but I thought it went extremely well. Hopefully Liz thought it went well too!
Jack

Holly & Eleanor pitch progress.

 Holly's and Eleanor's progress.

Eleanor: I thought from the last pitch that I was a bit scared but this time with Holly I felt a bit calmer because we had a different dragon (Jim) My design partner was calm as well.

Holly: I was very nervous because I have not met Jim before but when I got in Mr Wilson's office I was calm. With Liz, I was not very sure. I was very nervous but I don't know why. Maybe it was because it was my first time talking with Liz.

Jenny and Alice's pitch

Our first pitch didn't last very long, and we were very nervous. We hadn't rehearsed alot , however on our most recent pitch we had rehearsed as much as possible and it lasted longer as well. We also spoke very clearly and knew exactly what to say. We spread what to say equally and it was alot more successful than our first pitch. These are a few of the sentences from our second pitch.
The notebook appeals to ladies and girls because of the feminine colours.
The 2012 sign will also appeal to people as it will help commemorate what a fantastic 2012 will be.
We will now gladly answer any questions you may have.

Ebony and Ellie

The first time I pitched was to create a design, using collage, graphic manipulation and sewing to  go on a product . I wasn't confident because it was the first time. I pitched to Liz. The second time round we pitched to Jim and because I have pitched  before with Liz I felt loads more confident with Jim . We pitched with Jim about a stationery product, which could be sold in their museums.

The first time round I didn't have as much confidence as I had never done this before. The second time I was confident and I said it out louder.  I feel I have gained more confidence in me and I was much clearer the second time around.

Declan and Corey

Hello my name is Declan and my partner's name is Corey. We worked together to create a pitch to persuade Liz and Jim to choose the notebook to put on sale with the winning design on from an earlier competition.
We presented the pitch to Liz and had a few nerves but got through it well.We enjoyed it a lot and hope we win.
