Here are some of our designs (characters and posters) to promote safe technology use at Robin Hood.

Planning soundboards for Mad Pad

 Here we are planning our sound boards on Comic Life using the photos taken around school.

We then arranged the photos in order in Mad Pad to practise our compositions.

Control Technology: Mario Kart

In ICT, our focus is Control Technology.
We've created our own Mario Kart style tracks ...

and here's how we're getting on!



We're learning that the most successful strategy is to develop our programming in small steps, run the procedure then edit as required by amending, for example, the duration or speed.

In ICT Club, we've been animating the Robin Hood tree!

We used the I Can Animate app on the iPad to do this.

Mario Kart ICT

Leeds CLC-Jack A

Today a small group of children went to Leeds CLC to print some connecting classrooms T-Shirts with Uganda and Senegal. Mr Wilson, Mrs Wathen and Miss Darroch took us to the CLC and a Minibus took us back. We were put into diffrent groups with Yeadon Westfield and Royds

Hi my name is Sam, i am a pupil at Royds special language collage!

I am 11 and i have been spending time with some of your classmates/ schoolmates. Today (24th may) we made our own printed t-shirt for your school (and other schools) for the oncoming mini sports day, which will be held at my school! we were doing this for our project 'connecting classrooms' as we were asked to make shirts for schools in dirrerent countries!!! :)

Six childeren from our school, Royds and Yeadon Westfield met up at Leeds CLC for some international learning making t shirts for our school and others with the connecting classroom project. We were in groups of 3 and 4 to design t shirts for the mini sports day 2011

Hi i am Beth from Royds Specialist Language College , I'm 11 years old and today i have been spending some time with 5/6d . We have been making t.shirts for the upcoming event , the mini sports day which shall be held at my school on the 6th of July . I've had a great time with everyone at Cock Burn's High School . Hope 2 see 5/6d soon
