On Monday the 6th of June 2011 year 6 arrived at Robin Hood Primary School at 8:15, VERY VERY VERY EXCITED, as they were setting of to visit Robin Wood activity centre (Alston cumbria).
After we had handed our cases to the driver of the coach, were told to be seated on the bus and to put our seat belts on. We then set of on our journey and waved good bye to our family members. The journey approximately took us 3hrs 15minutes. When we arrived, we were told that we had a 4 1/2 mile walk until we reached Barough Hall, the activity centre and the place where we would be staying. When we got of the coach we were greeted by three members of the staff ,who worked at Robin Wood, Megan, Darren and Martin, we then got split up into our groups and began the LONG walk, as a result the three groups were named Crag, Mountain, and Ridge. However all the activites were called Zip Wire, Giant Swing, Pirhana Pool, Caving, Canoeing, Trapeze and many more exciting activites.
